The Trees and Mills
To provide the high quality paper you need for your envelopes, we have travelled and searched the mills of Europe, comparing different grades of paper until the perfect standards were found.

Your envelopes are made from Eco friendly paper discovered in Finland, 200 miles inside the Arctic Circle, at a mill where they produce a brilliant white paper with excellent mechanical properties. This mill has been highly credited with ISO 14001 for its environmental management ensuring your envelope is produced using paper from sustainable forests and manufactured without the use of harmful chlorines.

Recycled Paper EnvelopesEnvironmentally friendly
If you want to be completely environmentally friendly, then your envelopes can also be produced from 100% recycled paper from a specialist, recycling mill in France. This paper is made from 100% post consumer waste to ensure your envelope has been 100% environmentally produced.

Machine friendly gum
Throughout our search to find you the perfect envelope ingredients, we found a specific kind of envelope gum in Holland, specially designed with envelope production in mind. This eliminates the common frustration of ‘glue spots’ on envelopes that frequently jam mailing machines, causing considerable costs and inconvenience. You can be sure that the gum in your envelopes from Nova have secure seams and do not pose risk to your mailing machines.

Many of our envelopes have a single film of glassine in the windows on the front of the envelope. This ‘window glassine’ is from a plant in Belgium where they produce the biodegradable material for this purpose.

High Quality InksHigh quality inks
With the print being such an important factor in your messaging, we had to make sure we were using the highest quality inks. The inks on your envelopes are from specialists in Holland and are also environmentally friendly.

They do not contain heavy toxic metals, unlike many inks, and are in full compliance with Safety Standard Europe EN – 17.  We have, however, made sure that the ink is of a standard that ensures your messages are extremely clear and precise whilst being safe to the environment.

Delivery
We ensure you receive your envelopes in the same condition as they leave the printing machines. Your envelopes will be packaged into boxes made of high density, recycled cardboard with reinforced lids to ensure they are not crushed in transit. The flip top lids allow the mailing machine operator to work faster and minimise mistakes, so you benefit from faster, safer mailings without the extra expense.
